How our energy attract events and people to us

Good morning everyoneπŸ™‹‍♀️, such a nice day.
Still very cold - but better than yesterday. Yesterday, I struggled to do my tasks and meet my appointments because it was soooo cold.  But, I am grateful that I persevered and got them done πŸ‘
So today, I want to follow up with yesterday's post on our #Energy. So much to say but I'm going to TRY and keep it snappy.

A lot of times, we feel sorry for ourselves. Some of us unfortunately, have made it our job to ONLY see doom and gloom coming our way...so we can persistently LIVE in the state of "feeling sorry for our self".
I posted awhile ago that "OUR ENERGY flows towards whatever we're FOCUSED on", picking up whatever feelings evoked by that which we're focused. So if we focus on negative thoughts or events, we picks up negative energy which as meant in yesterday's post - vibrates at low frequency. (Read yesterday's post for more expansion)

And since like energies attracts,
- we attract more negative energy (or situations that would bring about more negative energy)
- we attract people with negative energy (because they are also giving off negative energy that is vibrating at same or similar frequency as us). Ever heard, "birds of the same feathers flock together", "like attracts like", "show me your friend and I'll tell you who you are", "misery like company"...well

For instance,
1: we attract people feeling just like us and together, we power up the negative feeling or super increase the low vibrational frequency - increasing the propensity of doom and gloom coming our way. (Remember, we create our lives. What we think, we manifest into our life by the feelings we put out into the universe)

2: we attract people who will create situations that will continuously evoke negative feelings (people who would use us or take advantage or take us for granted or manipulate us or put us in crisis or destroy us).

CYCLE: 

Negative feelings = Negative energy = Low vibrational frequency = attract anything travelling in same or close frequency. 

Now is the time to break that cycle


IMPLEMENT
1: Monitor your focus and thoughts. Both are linked. Redirect your focus/attention/thoughts immediately if it's on anything negative.

2: Replace the negative feelings being evoked with positive ones by doing something/activities that will bring a smile to your eyes, laughter to your lips, joy to your soul and even get your heart pumping like exercise

Sometimes, we forget to add the most simple, basic things....but which make huge impacts in our lives e g. Seeing, Breathing & Eating on your own, Hearing, Passing waste, walking.

ACTIVITY
Close your eyes and imagineπŸ€” a life without being able to do one or more of these at all...or even needing support to do any, for instance: a guide dog, oxygen mask to breathe, tools like catheter or colostomy bag, tube to feed, crutches or wheel chair etc? Can you imagine how vulnerable you'd feel constantly?

Now, do you think you have MORE THINGS to SHOW GRATITUDE FOR in your life πŸ™‚πŸ‘

IMPLEMENT
Show gratitude by living in gratitude everyday of your life...
1: Paying attention, try to notice all the good things around you especially those you normally take for granted.

2: Take time to reflect upon and appreciate the things that you are thankful for...

3: Be an active listener - really listen to what someone has to say. make eye contact, be present

4: Be mindful of others both in your deed and your thoughts. Don't judge, trust me...you really don't know the FULL story.

5: Show compassion, volunteer for unpleasant tasks. Help out a loved one or a neighbour.

6: Give compliments, Give a hug, Smile & Say Hello....it really doesn't cost you a thing. Infact, it might be all the person needed to make their day or even not take their life.

BENEFITS of PRACTICING GRATITUDE
YOU experience MORE positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, have stronger immune systems and even attract more things to be grateful for in your life.

How to attract more of what we want in our life

Hello Everyone,
So today, I want to talk a little about our #energy.

First, let me break it down. Everything, everyone is made up of matter (atoms). These atoms carry energy and hence, we are made up of energy. These energy have different levels (emotional, physical, mental, spiritual) and each level vibrate at a different frequency. All vibrations operate at either high or low frequency and all of these energy can be transferred or converted into different forms.

Now, I'm going to focus on the emotional level but without going into too much detail. Our emotions are energy (e-motion = energy in motion) that carry our feelings. It is those feelings that make emotion positive (with low vibrational frequency) or negative (with high vibrational frequency).

Digressing a bit, our physical, mental, spiritual energy feeds our emotional energy and therefore impacts the frequency our emotional energy vibrates.  E.g. sickness, disease, depression, stress cause us to vibrate at a lower frequency (negative energy). Fortunately and unfortunately, the universe aligns us with things, people and situations that match the energy we put out.

For instance, cast your mind back to when you last had cold or flu.
 - If you were in boarding school, you had to get up and carry on with any activity that is required.
 - If you worked, you still had to get up and go to work.
 - If you had deadlines, you still had to get up and try your best to meet them.
Now in each of these situations, you notice that while you are out and about at work or in school, you felt less sick than before you stepped out. This is because, your thoughts are filled with other things and not how sick you felt. You have put yourself in a mental space or mindset where you are being productive and goal oriented despite the illness. But the second you go home and tell yourself "I'm very unwell, I need to ly down", you start feeling terrible again and progressively worse.
The universe is aligning you with situations that match the energy you were putting out at work or school, and then at home.

The different parts of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being, resonante to (move in unison with) various vibrational frequencies but will vibrate more strongly when it is subjected to a vibrational frequency equal to or very close to its natural frequency.

Like energies attract, so to attract positive energy we have to vibrate positive energy (raise our vibrational frequency high) every day through our thoughts, feelings and actions.  The more we improve ourselves thereby raising our vibrational frequencies, the more the energy collected in one area (around us) thus creating a stronger or greater attraction, which enables us to get more (situation, people, things) of what we're attracting. 

NOTE
This means, we have a higher chance of us aligning ourselves with things, people and situations that are beneficial to our well being. We feel lighter physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally when our energy is vibrating at a higher frequency. Our self-esteem grows and we feel more empowered, purposeful, certain, peace, love, happy etc.

IMPLEMENT
3 ways to raise your vibration to a higher frequency are:
1: Monitor (be conscious of) your thoughts as they have an impact on how you feel, act and react.  Rectify any negative thoughts immediately by identifying them (is it good or bad), understand them (is it joy, shame, love, hate etc), determine their cause by linking them to some life circumstance, event or person, next: transform them, transmute them, or even “heal” them.
2: Always be grateful and practice acts of kindness.
3: Surround yourself with positive, motivating inspiring people and messages..., so you're always starting and ending your day full of optimism

A couple of hours ago, I was talking about starting a gratitude journal, practising and working in gratitude.....so you can attract more things to be grateful for in your life.

Why You Should Stop Trying To Impress People

Hello everyone, it's Friday..."Freedom Friday"!!

It's time to FREE yourself from the shackles and burden of IMPRESSING people. OH dear! What a weight on a shoulder already carrying soooo much!

Always do a good deed from the heart and not to impress people who are on earth for a tiny part of eternity (their eternal life). When they pass-on, their knowledge - dreams & aspirations - memory, treasures, accumulated wealth....PUFF....all ends with them...gone with the wind. They cannot access it ANY more. Sometimes, it's all gone even before they pass...to the point they can't even remember who you are any more.

You know, realising how short our life here is before we move on to....a life with no end (eternal) sure gets the wheels in your brain turning. It definitely forces you to start putting things into perspective. You start to ask the very important questions like....NOT what legacy do I want to leave behind BUT what real meaning did my life give to someone or many. 
Did I...
- effect a positive or even powerful change in someone's life
- bring real deep down the soul joy and happiness to someone's life...like constantly bring warm soup or hot tea, burger meal or home cooked food, a blanket, thick jumper, woolly hat or glove clean water to drink, a smile and a hello to that homeless person around the corner. Take him to a clean warm safe place to sleep each night..find her job, home
- make HUGE difference in even one person's life without showcasing it.

ACTION
If you must impress someone...impress
1: yourself (say: wao! I can believe I did that, I'm so proud of me. Pat on the back). This will help build your confidence, fill you with excitement, give you a sense of purpose, real joy and happiness deep inside (I can tell you for free, this feeling can be addictive. You crave more of it which brings me to the next..), makes you want to do more for others hence feeding a cycle

Or
2: better still, why not impress the only ONE who sees all and can remember your every (little or large, in secret & private or public) good deed in this life and most importantly.....your life after.

Self-preservation and Self Growth

Today, I want to talk about Self-preservation and Self Growth.

Self-preservation is not being selfish but is the act of protecting ourself from destruction or harm.
This does not mean we can't be selfless. Being selfless means giving to others without looking for personal gain....but in doing that, we've got to start learning to set limits and healthy boundaries for our own good. We can be generous and kind without thinking less about ourselves.

Self growth is the process of understanding and developing ourself in order to achieve our fullest potential.

To successfully achieve self growth, we must actively pursue personal development opportunities. It must be ongoing as it not only ensures growth...it exapands our maturity, success, happiness...plus feeds our emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual health.

IMPLEMENTATION
1: Know your limits. Stop hanging around people...
- that make you doubt your self worth
- that make you make and act on decisions that are not good for your overall well-being
- that constantly take & take & take without giving - drain your mind and spirit leaving you an empty shell of yourself
- that routinely heap blame & disappointments on you, constantly make you feel shame causing you to feel you can't do anything without help
- that never listen to you: dismiss your opinion, disregard your feelings, think lesd of you
- that routinely take rights of your ideas and never acknowledge nor give you credit for them
- that always act like or make you feel that it's always your fault or that you are being overly sensitive
- that put words in your mouth, routinely claim you never said something or reconstruct what you said till it's unrecognisable - so much so, you begin to always doubt yourself
- that always insist you do what they want and not what you need

2: Honor your needs and desires. Make self care important in your life. Spend time with yourself...
- pamper yourself (massage body or head, manicure or pedicure, full hair treatment - shampoo/deep condition & treatment, go to your favourite restaurant etc)
- swim, go to gym or for a run & clear your mind
- go to cinema & watch an inspiring movie
- prepare your favourite meal, lounge and eat

3: Take time to heal, repair and upgrade yourself from inside out
- sit still: (tune into your feelings & work through them, tune into your surroundings and practise gratitude, or empty your thoughts and meditate)
- upgrade your mind: read a book or listen to an educational audio or watch inspirational people on youtube (check out Ted Talk)
